| 2006, May 27: Today I had a fantastic session at Svaneholm Lake. Using my favourite groundbait and loosefeeding with sweetcorn and maggots I had my best tenshfishing ever. Floatfishing with Stroft 0,18 mm line and a number 8 hook, wide gap was the method for the day. I had a boat from 17-21, 4 hours fishing and the first fish for the day was a small roach, second one was a small rudd and already 17.40, the third fish for the day I caught my personal best tench! Thats pretty quick that the tech arrives that early after groundbaiting. But I can tell you that it doesn´t matter at all, lol. The tench always fights hard and it´s not easy to guess how big the fish is before you can see it and this fish caught ME by surprise. It really was a nice fish. And for Svaneholm Lake it was a monster. Usually they weight 1,5-2 kg. This fish weight 3,230 kg / 7 lb 2 oz. This wasnt the last fish for the day. No, next fishes weight 2,480, 2,420, 2,280, 1,890 and 1,830 kg and a bunch of small roach and rudds aswell. |

| 2006, 12 May: Lovely evening at Borga Lake. lThe method I used today was ledgering with sweetcorn or white maggots or a cocktail. Groundbait was my special mix which is a secret what it is, and I was loosefeeding with sweetcorn. First fish was a nice tench on sweetcorn, 2,100 kg / 4 lb 10 oz, which I landed without my landingnet which wasnt set up |
